Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is sex therapy?

Sex therapy, like other forms of talk therapy, takes place in a safe, confidential setting with a trained and licensed professional. It focuses on addressing the client's specific sexual concerns through discussion, education, and evidence-based strategies. This may include information about anatomy, sexual response and arousal patterns, and other relevant topics tailored to the individual or couple’s needs.

Sex therapy does not include any form of physical touch between the therapist and client.

  • What are your fees?

I operate using a sliding scale, with typical fees ranging from 125-250/session, based on a variety of factors including type of service, budget of individual clients, and my sliding scale availability.

  • Are you a member of a practice?

Yes! I am a part of the amazing team at Wise Therapy, where I am supervised by the incredible Dr. Kelly Wise.

I currently see clients at our Brooklyn office located in Prospect Heights, as well as seeing clients virtually over a telehealth video platform.
